The Student Conflict Resolution Center Does:
- Ensure privacy
- Provide an impartial perspective
- Listen to your concerns
- Explore options
- Help strategize
- Provide non-escalating dispute resolution services
- Value a student-driven approach
- Provide appropriate referrals and resource information
- Mediate or facilitate small or large groups
- Value diversity and provide an inclusive space
The Student Conflict Resolution Center Does NOT:
- Advocate for either the university or its constituents
- Mandate participation
- Violate privacy
- Overturn university decisions
- Create formal agreements between individuals or groups
- Retain identifying records
- Give legal or counseling advice
- Draw or make conclusions
- Seek information or provide services without permission
- File or participate in formal grievances
